| Allah says: “To you We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah has revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that has come to you.” [Sûrah al-Mâ’idah: 48]
Also, when the Prophet saw `Umar b. al-Khattâb reading pages from the Torah, he said: “I swear by Him in whose hand is my soul, if Moses were alive today, he would do naught but follow me.” [Musnad Ahmad (1516)]
We must also consider that the New Testament as it presently stands is not the gospel of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). It is not the revelation that Allah had sent to him. Indeed, the gospels do not even clam to be the words that were revealed to Christ. They are the writings of others, and they are duly attributed to their authors – Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

| Salam Alaikum sister  we know the previous scriptures that were revelead to Jews and Christians also came from Allah but they were manipulated and corrupted by men, I just wanted ask sister if there is any way to know what happened to the original message, I mean was it transmitted by oral tradition so it got lost or they had scriptures they corrupted or hide the true revelead words at that time? ... I just have some curiosity about some history and it can be useful thank you
